Description

Established in 2006, Innosilicon has 12 years of experience in IP/IC development and design. Of late, Innosilicon went into the production of crypto mining devices and released multiple types of miners. These miners worked with major altcoins algorithms like SHA-256, Scrypt, X11, Blake 256, and Equihash. Innosilicon released and started shipping the T2-32T model in early September 2018.

About Innosilicon T2T 32T

The miner has an all-in-one design most recent miners have that integrates the miner and power supply. The size dimensions are 460*236*160mm and weight 7.5g. This miner comes with an aluminum shell case, making it compact and firm and helps in heat removal. The power supply has a switch for convenient control, and there are two power interfaces on the control board.

The 4pin interface sends power to the control board, and the 6pin interface supplies the two fans. A 3 x 1.5mm power cords are provided with a weight of 230g.

The hash board and controller are joined together by a flat cable. Innoslicon installs two non-slip mats under the miner to ensure stable mining conditions. The device consumes 2200W, and the power efficiency is about ≥93%.

Temperature

The temperature values vary in different modes. The temperature for the air outlet switches between 51℃ and 70℃ in Efficiency mode or Performance mode, respectively.
Performance Modes
Innosilicon T2T 32T comes with four mining modes, which allow the miner to operate in four modes of Balanced, Efficiency, Factory, Performance.

Efficiency Mode: In this mode, the Innosilicon T2T 32T works in low power consumption and reduced hash rate. The temperature warning value is 55℃, and it has a hash rate of 27.9T. The total power consumed is about 19040-2037W, with a power consumption ratio of 69.5-73W/T.

Factory Mode: This is the default mining mode. While set at factory mode, the total power consumed is about 2217-2350W, and the power consumption ratio is 70.2-74.3W/T. The temperature warning value is 65℃, and the top hash rate is 32T.

Balanced Mode: This is the recommended mode for proportional mining. The Innosilicon T2T 32T has an average hash rate of 29.5T with the flat mining mode. It has a total of 2204-2265W consumed, and the temperature warning value is 60℃.

Performance Mode: This mode offers higher hash rates but increases power consumption as expected. When selected, the system will show a warning: “You’re going to enter overclocking mode, which will consume more power. Please make sure the power supply capability is enough, and the cables can handle the current load.” The peak hash rate is 33.8Th/s, the power consumption of 2370-2512W, and a power consumption ratio of about 70.1-74.3W/T.

Performance+ Mode: This is the highest mining mode for the Innosilicon T2T 32T. When selected, the system will show a warning: “You’re going to enter overclocking mode, which will consume more power. Please make sure the power supply capability is enough, and the cables can handle the current load.” In this mode, the device will automatically try to adjust to the best frequency. A single hash board will fluctuate between 7.7T and 11.8T, totaling a maximum hash rate of 34.8T, and stabilize.

The miner consists of three hash boards. The oblique-designed heat sink on the air inlet reduces wind resistance and allows air intake for adequate air circulation.

Fan and Air Circulation

The miner comes with two 12V-14cm-4.5A six-core PWM fans for heat removal. Compared to the 12cm fans on other miners, this fan has less power consumption. The two fans have metal protection covers in the factory. The fan at the air outlet is connected to the control board by crossing below the power supply.

Set-Up and Installation

The Innosilicon T2T 32T has a simple setup; plug in the power supply and network cable. Since the wall power consumption exceeds 1800W, it is essential to check if the power cable meets the requirements. The cable diameter is 1.5mm, which is the international standard. When the miner starts running normally, the mining info is shown on the page. The environment temperature is set to a maximum of 17℃. When power-on, standby power consumption is about 33.5W, and the startup noise is 79dB.

Algorithm

The Innosilicon T2T 32T works with the Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA-256) algorithm. The SHA-256 has up to 40 minable coins, but its top coins are Bitcoin(BTC) and Bitcoin Cash(BCH).

Profitability

Profitability and Return Of Investment (ROI) is an essential criterion for getting a miner. The Innosilicon T2T 32T will profit depending on current market conditions and electricity costs in the area.
